Isaac Delusion presents "Lost and Found", a genuine return to his roots

A fixture on the French electro-pop scene since 2012, Isaac Delusion is back with a surprising fourth album, revealing the true voice of frontman Loïc Fleury and exploring new musical avenues. "Lost and Found" is on Musicaline.

Isaac Delusion, the Parisian pop and electronic music group, is back with a tour and a fourth album, Lost and Found, on Musicaline.

The core of Isaac Delusion started out as a duo, but has since evolved into a quartet: Loïc Fleury and Jules Pacotte, the two friends and founding members, met at college, and it was in Loïc's former maid's room in Vincennes that they recorded "Midnight Sun", their first hit in 2012.

The English-speaking Frenchmen, always in search of sonic experimentation, celebrated their 10th anniversary in the modern pop landscape, but this time it's mainly Loïc Fleury - band leader, singer and guitarist - who is at the helm of Lost and Found, otherwise known as "objet trouvé".
So what is this object?

It's not a bunch of keys, nor a pair of gloves, it's Loïc Fleury's natural voice. Because, contrary to appearances, the Isaac Delusion frontman says he doesn't have a Jimmy Sommerville-style head voice.

Mind you, he's no Barry White either, but this album allows its interpreter to totally reconsider the mystical context in which it was recorded: a menhir in the Breton countryside, where he took refuge at the time of the health crisis, is the place where he finally unleashed his essential voice, discovered new tessituras and collaborated for the first time with the new generation: LUCASV, 24, craftsman on the latest album by rapper Disiz, takes part in the Lost and Found project, which is also an album of rediscovered friendship.

Isaac Delusion in duet with Olivia Merilahti, ex-The Do, wonders how to reconcile their lives as a family and an artist in constant search of dopamine. With the tour dates that await Isaac Delusion, there will be time to reconsider the question soon.

Isaac Delusion's Lost and Found album is already available, and after a sold-out show at La Cigale in April, the band is opening a second Paris date: the Olympia on November 28 and a European tour.
